Law Community Trust Require Volunteers
FOR THE LAW ENVIROMENT IMPROVEMENT WORKS PROJECT
In Association with

We need your help! Volunteers are required to learn about landscaping, dry-stone walling and planting. Do you fancy giving a couple of hours of your time to learn a new skill? and enhance your village at the same time?
Further Training dates to follow: Everyone will have to have protective boots, gloves and high visibility vests, we can provided all of these as long as we know the number of people interested and shoe sizes.
If you are aged 16 or over and are able to work in the great outdoors for a few hours a week, we want to speak to you.

Law Community Trust has recently been given funding for carrying out a series of environmental improvement works around the village. This work will be carried out by Lanark based Clydesdale Community Initiatives.
They will be starting in the village by the 22nd June 2009. The works they will be undertaking include planting beds and walling at the entry to Muir Street, enhancement of the Law Primary School frontage, wooden planters and bulb planting to the entries of the village.
Clydesdale Community Initiatives, was set-up in 2002 to enable young people who are at risk and adults with mental health issue’s, to develop a derelict site in Lanark, South Lanarkshire.
This project was so successful, with both groups benefiting hugely from their involvement, that it was decided to undertake further projects. With their dedicated staff of experienced trainers they helped local Communities create attractive areas in the places they live. http://www.cciweb.co.uk/index.php
