Law Community Trust Achievements
The first success of Law Community Trust was that
of the Christmas Light in 2005. A short and very
successful campaign raised over £1750 to purchase
a further five new Christmas Lights for the village at
a cost of £350 each.
In 2004 South Lanarkshire Council were
Approached by Law Community Trust and agreed to
put up nine Christmas Lights. The “Trust” felt that
this was a good start but just that a start..
The village got behind the campaign to purchase a
further five Christmas Light units.
This brings us up to a total of fourteen Christmas
Lights. The maximum allowed by South Lanarkshire
Council on the grounds of power and maintenance
